A 3-wood that will not sit down
Long seconds look like a gift until the ball lands at 43° on caliche and runs through the green you were proud of reaching. Fairway-hold sessions exist for that exact embarrassment.
We compare it to the long iron
Plenty of golfers own a 3-wood and a 4-iron that land within a degree of each other. In Houston that is a curiosity. Here it is two clubs that both hop. We log both arrivals and pick the one the green will actually keep.
Shaft mass matters more than the paint on the crown. A lighter 5-wood that balloons in 7,000-foot density altitude is a kite, not a tool. We would rather recut loft on the gamer than sell you a louder sole.
